The Introduction
We met on the dating app Hinge. Sam liked Sarah's profile and we exchanged many messages over the course of a few weeks.

First Date
Sam suggested a sunrise hike for our first date. The first time we ever saw each other in person was at 6:15am at Piestewa Peak.

Meeting our Families
We met people from each other's families at different times throughout Winter 2024. Our first times all together were on Easter (the Friedman's) and at cousin Josh's wedding in Colorado Springs (the Witkop's).

Dating
We spent the rest of 2024 meeting each other's people and spending meaningful time together (See the gallery below for a few of our favorite things).

the Engagement
Sam proposed to Sarah on December 20, 2024 at a special bench by the fountain in Fountain Hills. We'll let you figure out what Sarah said.
